DOOM HOUSE（ドゥームハウス）とは一体何なのか？当サイトは日本唯一のドゥームハウス公式サイトです。 90年代初頭、アンダーグラウンドロック界で主流であったデスメタル。その限界まで速さを求めたロックのアンチテーゼとして誕生したのがドゥームメタルでした。それから数年後、その歴史とは全く関係ない場所、それもごく一部の人々の趣味で完結していた日本のインターネット音楽の世界で、同じような感覚で誕生したのが「ドゥームハウス」です。 当時そのような名称で呼ばれる事はありませんでしたが、その重低音やゴワゴワした音で構成され、さらに人によっては不快に感じるような嫌なサンプリング声が含まれたサウンドは、そのころ流行っていたメロディアスなフレーズや、速いだけの単純なナードコアのアンチテーゼだった事は間違いありません。 「ドゥームハウス」を今、この時代に改めて見つめなおし、分析しつつ、新たな作品を送り出していきたいという願いを込め、このページを作成しました。長くなりましたが一言でいうならば「長寿と繁栄を」ということです。 |

What is "DOOM HOUSE"? This site is one and only DOOM HOUSE official site in Japan. In the early 90's, The Death Metal was the mainstream in underground rock scene. Doom Metal was developed as antithesis of the sound that demanded the speed to the limit. A few years later, at the world of the Japanese Internet music (it was the almost hobby of some people) which was totally irrelevant to the history of Metal, "DOOM HOUSE" was birthed by the similar senses. It was not called by such a name at that time. But there is no doubt that the sound that consisted mainly of deep bass and stiff sound and the sickly sampling voice was antithesis of the music of melodious phrase or Nerdcore(hardcore techno for nerd) that is tedious just to be fast. This website builds up in the hope of that now rediscovering a value of "DOOM HOUSE", analyzing it, and releasing the new work. "Live long and prosper" |
